Make Lunch

Our newest initiative is Make Lunch Stonydelph which is a group we run in order to help alleviate holiday hunger and social isolation

The team provides activities and a hot meal for families in need during the school holidays and this has been running successfully since October 2018. Currently this is operating differently from normal due to Covid restriction and instead the team are providing food/care parcels to families along with a craft activity for the children.

To help with this we have received various grants from Tamworth BC, The Community Foundation for Staffordshire and the National Emergencies Trust special coronavirus grant, Transforming Lives for Good (parent charity for national Make Lunch clubs) as well as food donations from the Tamworth Pantry, Asda and Tesco though Fareshare, Harvest donations from Three Peaks Primary Academy and our own congregation and also money from tithing within the whole parish.
